Hillsong United Concert / 5-26-08

Grabe! Super saya last Monday night! All the people inside Araneta Coliseum were praising God!
The funny part is... tapos na ung concert eh di bumaba na ung Hillsong United teams sa stage...
But then, the people were shouting "One Way, One Way, One Way" (their song telling that God is the One and Only Way). To our surprise!!! Bumalik sila sa stage! hahaha! Joel Houston said that we young Filipinos are "Crazy for Jesus" (sounds Good!!!) haha! We really must be crazy for Him! So, they played their song One Way with the thousands of people praising God that very moment. After that they played their ending song (which is my favorite). The one entitled "SOLUTION"

Grabe talaga! hahaha! Lahat halos ng fave songs namin ng brother ko tnugtog nila!
Whooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaahh!

WHO SAYS CHRISTIANS CAN'T ROCK?!
Uhhh--Oooohhh!! You are SO SO SO WRONG!
--
I thank God for that wonderful experience... Sa wakas naranasan ulit namin ng music team ng church namin na nde kami ung tumutugtog at kumakanta.. =)

You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know.

You don't always resist your urges to crush the weak. Just remember, they don't have as much going for them as you do.

Wrap Up! 3rd year is almost over! =)

A few more days and my 3rd year in college is done! Yipeee! Way to go!
I got so much stress this second semester @_@.
Below this are my answers to the questions posted on our site about our realizations resulted by the collaboration of our batch Centro Escolar University with University of West Georgia for technology-enhanced lesson plans and the use of technology-based material for early childhood education classroom.
Wooooo! I'm so glad I am a part of this collaboration thingy! =)

ENJOY READING! ^_^
  • What stood out from the teaching experience? (positive and/or negative)
      • Both stood out from my teaching experience. Positive, because now I have that sense of self-approval that I can teach little children while realizing that I love them and enjoy being with them. Looking at their smiles and seeing how they learn is already a reward for me. The good thing I was able to handle not to show off was that I was a bit nervous during the process. I have been so blessed that my students participated well. On the negative side, was that before my demo started I was thinking about the things and task I am going to do that night (assignments and review for the mid-term examinations the next day) really stressed me out, however, I believe it didn’t affect my performance.
  • What did you like about the activity you implemented?
      • The things I like about the activity I implemented was the technology enhanced discussion and the activities that the children were very excited about.
  • What would you do differently if you are going to teach the same activity?
      • I will be presenting better clip-arts, animations and create interesting power point presentations. I will also think of other more interesting activities and will make my story more lively and interactive.
  • What did you learn about yourself -- as a teacher? as an undergraduate student?
      • As a teacher, I learned that teaching is not a job, it’s a passion. It is about loving the little children and wanting them to learn more about the world they are in. I also learned that classroom management is important. I should have many activities so that the children will not be bored. Another thing is teachers must show enthusiasm about teaching and learning so that they will serve as a good model about attitude towards learning.
      • As an undergraduate student, I learned that if I drop those non-urgent and unimportant tasks I will be able to use my time in more important matters that will help me to enhance my skills and knowledge that is useful for my future career. Another one is when I am tasked to do things, I must look at it positively and not to complain about the huge tasks because it will be a great learning experience for me and I will surely benefit from it.
  • What did you learn about teaching in a pre-K classroom?
      • I learned that children love stories, singing, surprises and of course doing lots and lots of different activities. Therefore we must not limit them to just using crayons and pencils. Children are entirely different from each other. They have their own interests and needs and we must know how to supply and respond to it. I also learned that I must know many things about good classroom management and how to implement it. If the little children feel you love them, they will love you too.
  • What advice would you give to future students who will be taking this course?
      • Use technology to its maximum. Don’t be afraid to explore the computer and other technology materials because it will help you in the teaching process. Remember, we may encounter technical difficulties, so you must have an alternative plan ready when things go wrong. Always keep in mind that the teacher is the most effective visual-aid ever. ^_^ Last but not the least is don’t forget that teaching is a work of the heart.

Worried about your looks?

What is self image?
It is one's mental concept of oneself or one's position in relation to others; how one sees oneself.
----
Who's right about you?
Are you the way your friends see you? Your parents or teachers?
Or is everybody wrong? If your still growing up and maturing, does anybody know the true you?

How can you build a positive self image? Remember God made you the way you are.
And God doesn't make a junk.
Don't you spend time concentrating on what you think are your bad points.
Work on your good ones. Build on your strengths, and stop focusing on your weaknesses.
Most important-make good decisions.
Stick to what you know is right, and you'll have a great reason to feel good about yourself.

Still worried about your looks? Remember they're temporary. They'll change.
So we must fix our eyes not on what is seen, but for what is unseen.
For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Remember:

- Physical beauty is fleeting, but the beauty of the heart and soul is eternal.
- Wag mo ipagyabang na maganda o gwapo ka dahil isang buhos lng nang acido wala na yan.
- Pagtanda mo puputi rin buhok mo, kukulubot din balat mo at balang araw mamamatay ka rin.

A Thought: Dont Ever...

I don't rush things... Things that are half-hazard done.
Wen I want something, i want it best so... I'm gonna wait for it.
Don't ever get into a relationship just for the sake of having one.
The best will not come if u just always look for an alternative. ^^

SOTR EB at Quezon City...

Happy Birthday ate Nicole and Jaehn!

Last saturday, it was my first time to attend an EB of Sustainer of the Realm.
Haha, I met and saw people that I usually only see in the game realm of Ragnarok Online.
I also saw my other ex-guildmates in Apocalypse and Hyksos.
I am so happy that we have that bonding moment even if it is just for a while because Ancient Angel (Rizza) and I just passed by to give our gift cake to ate Nicole.
Hahaha! Thanks for making me feel welcome in the SOTR family! *kisses*

Happy Heart's Day

(Tagalog Yan! Haha! /nosebleed ako)
