What Lynn Frances Means |
You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow. You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily. Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is. You are a free spirit, and you resent anyone who tries to fence you in. You are unpredictable, adventurous, and always a little surprising. You may miss out by not settling down, but you're too busy having fun to care. You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people. You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts. You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals. You are loving, compassionate, and ruled by your feelings. You are able to be a foundation for other people... but you still know how to have fun. Sometimes your emotions weigh you down, but you generally feel free from them. You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something. You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense. You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun. You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. You have the classic "Type A" personality. You are very open. You communicate well, and you connect with other people easily. You are a naturally creative person. Ideas just flow from your mind. A true chameleon, you are many things at different points in your life. You are very adaptable. You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone. You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together. At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together. You are the total package - suave, sexy, smart, and strong. You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know. You don't always resist your urges to crush the weak. Just remember, they don't have as much going for them as you do. |

Wrap Up! 3rd year is almost over! =)
A few more days and my 3rd year in college is done! Yipeee! Way to go!
I got so much stress this second semester @_@.
Below this are my answers to the questions posted on our site about our realizations resulted by the collaboration of our batch Centro Escolar University with University of West Georgia for technology-enhanced lesson plans and the use of technology-based material for early childhood education classroom.
Wooooo! I'm so glad I am a part of this collaboration thingy! =)

- What stood out from the teaching experience? (positive and/or negative)
- Both stood out from my teaching experience. Positive, because now I have that sense of self-approval that I can teach little children while realizing that I love them and enjoy being with them. Looking at their smiles and seeing how they learn is already a reward for me. The good thing I was able to handle not to show off was that I was a bit nervous during the process. I have been so blessed that my students participated well. On the negative side, was that before my demo started I was thinking about the things and task I am going to do that night (assignments and review for the mid-term examinations the next day) really stressed me out, however, I believe it didn’t affect my performance.
- What did you like about the activity you implemented?
- The things I like about the activity I implemented was the technology enhanced discussion and the activities that the children were very excited about.
- What would you do differently if you are going to teach the same activity?
- I will be presenting better clip-arts, animations and create interesting power point presentations. I will also think of other more interesting activities and will make my story more lively and interactive.
- What did you learn about yourself -- as a teacher? as an undergraduate student?
- As a teacher, I learned that teaching is not a job, it’s a passion. It is about loving the little children and wanting them to learn more about the world they are in. I also learned that classroom management is important. I should have many activities so that the children will not be bored. Another thing is teachers must show enthusiasm about teaching and learning so that they will serve as a good model about attitude towards learning.
- As an undergraduate student, I learned that if I drop those non-urgent and unimportant tasks I will be able to use my time in more important matters that will help me to enhance my skills and knowledge that is useful for my future career. Another one is when I am tasked to do things, I must look at it positively and not to complain about the huge tasks because it will be a great learning experience for me and I will surely benefit from it.
- What did you learn about teaching in a pre-K classroom?
- I learned that children love stories, singing, surprises and of course doing lots and lots of different activities. Therefore we must not limit them to just using crayons and pencils. Children are entirely different from each other. They have their own interests and needs and we must know how to supply and respond to it. I also learned that I must know many things about good classroom management and how to implement it. If the little children feel you love them, they will love you too.
- What advice would you give to future students who will be taking this course?
- Use technology to its maximum. Don’t be afraid to explore the computer and other technology materials because it will help you in the teaching process. Remember, we may encounter technical difficulties, so you must have an alternative plan ready when things go wrong. Always keep in mind that the teacher is the most effective visual-aid ever. ^_^ Last but not the least is don’t forget that teaching is a work of the heart.
